Public observatory · Belgium
What Belgian municipalities publish about their crisis preparedness
General emergency plan (PGUI), special plans, BE-Alert, exercises, service continuity and cyber: for every municipality and province, what is publicly verifiable, with sources.
How the observatory works
- 01
Collection
An identified crawler reads the official websites, respecting robots.txt and the pace each website asks for.
- 02
Pre-classification
An AI suggests a status for each document found, with a confidence level. It publishes nothing.
- 03
Human validation
A reviewer checks every source before publication. Municipalities can correct their page.
The score measures how visible measures are publicly, not whether they exist: a municipality may have a plan it does not publish. Methodology
