ResiPlan or GlobalSuite

GlobalSuite is a Spanish vendor founded in 2006, broad and certified. ResiPlan is a younger Belgian vendor focused on continuity. Here is what separates them, including where GlobalSuite is ahead.

GlobalSuite's strengths

What we acknowledge first.

BIA and recovery mechanics

Surveys with no account, MTPD and RTO propagated along the tree, recovery plans as sequences, tests tracked with a countdown: all described in its manual.

Audit

Audit plans, working papers, logged hours and Word reports. Clearly deeper than ours.

Certificates and track record

Nine certificates announced, including ISO 27001 since 2008 and ISO 22301 since 2013, and more than 2,000 customers according to its website.

Breadth and customisation

A configurable engine applied standard by standard, customer Word templates, fine-grained rights, copy from parent to subsidiaries.

ResiPlan's strengths

Continuity in practice

Facilitated exercises with triggers and decisions that have consequences, a crisis game, supplier failure simulation, cost of recovery.

Verifiable decisions

The crisis decision log is chained: a later change shows. The call tree runs and leaves a trace.

Benelux standards, ready to use

CyFun 2025 with a workbook in the CCB format, BIO and FNCS preloaded, and an interface in French, English and Dutch.

Public prices and a tooled exit

Prices on the website (€199–€2,999/month (billed yearly)), a 14-day trial and an export package to leave whenever you want.

Line by line

For GlobalSuite, according to its public pages. We have not tried its product.

GlobalSuite may be enough if…

  • You want one platform for many standards, including quality and environment.
  • Your procurement requires an ISO 27001 or ISO 22301 certificate from the vendor today.
  • You need an on-premises installation, or your own Word templates.
  • You mainly work in Spanish, or you must follow ENS.

ResiPlan fits if…

  • Continuity is your priority, and you want to test it under real conditions.
  • You work in the Benelux, in Dutch or French, with CyFun or BIO.
  • You want to know the price before talking to a salesperson.
  • You have no team to spend weeks configuring a tool.

What ResiPlan does not do today

  • Answering the BIA with no account.
  • Reusable recovery sequences and per-task timing.
  • The customer's own Word template.
  • Alerts by SMS and by call.
  • On-premises installation, and a vendor certification.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is this comparison neutral?

No. ResiPlan wrote it, from GlobalSuite's public pages, without trying its product. An absence only means the topic is not documented in those pages. If a line is wrong, write to contact@resiplan.eu and we will correct it.

Is ResiPlan certified to ISO 27001 or ISO 22301?

No, not today. If that certificate is a condition of your purchase, GlobalSuite meets it and we do not.

How do I move to ResiPlan?

Export your processes and BIAs to Excel, import them with a preview (unknown columns are kept), then launch a review campaign with the process owners.

Can I leave ResiPlan afterwards?

Yes. The switching page describes the procedure, and the administrator downloads the export package directly.
